S’mores Strawberries Recipe for Easter day 2024

Ingredients :

Labeled ingredients

Fresh Whole Strawberries

  •  You need 12 large strawberries for this recipe. If the berries you are using are smaller, that’s fine, you will just need more of them in order to use up the melted marshmallow and chocolate. Make sure that you rinse the strawberries and then pat them dry with a paper towel. The worst thing you can do, when making chocolate dipped strawberries, is try to dip wet or damp berries into the melted chocolate – it won’t work!

Mini Marshmallows

  • These get melted in the microwave. I don’t recommend using large marshmallows because marshmallows expand a lot while cooking inside the microwave, so unless you have a really large microwave and/or a very large mixing bowl, the larger marshmallows will more likely expand over.

Milk Chocolate Chips

  • For less sweetness you can use semi-sweet chocolate chips or even dark chocolate chips. You can even use candy melts or melting wafers instead of chocolate chips. Melting wafer or candy melts are usually more fail-proof and easier to work with.

Whole Graham Cracker Sheets

  • 4 graham cracker sheets get crushed for an easy crumble garnish on top of the melted chocolate layer.

Instructions :

  • Strawberry Preparation: Put the strawberries in a colander and rinse them with cold water. This will prepare the strawberries. The strawberries, after being cleaned, should be placed on a layer of paper towel that is layered on top of a kitchen towel.
  • If you want the strawberries to dry out more quickly, use a paper towel and pat them dry in a very gentle manner. Before you dip them into the chocolate, you need to make sure that they are fully dry.

  • Get ready: A sheet of wax paper or parchment paper should be placed on the surface of the countertop. To prevent the layer of melted marshmallow from sticking to the paper, lightly spray it with cooking spray in the bottom of the container.
  • To prepare the graham crackers, crush them into extremely small crumbs, place them in a bowl, and set them aside for later use. With graham cracker crumbs that have already been crushed, you will need around one-third of a cup of crumbs.
a total of four sheets of graham crackers A Layer of Marshmallows
  • Place the mini marshmallows in a big bowl that is appropriate for use in the microwave. Microwave for thirty seconds on high, then stir the mixture. It should be heated in increments of thirty seconds, with stirring in between each one, until it is completely melted and smooth.

  • Although the marshmallows will expand and double in size while they are being cooked in the microwave, it is imperative that you select a basin that is sufficiently large. 3.0 cups of little marshmallows
  • While working with one strawberry at a time, dip the strawberry about three quarters of the way into the marshmallows that have been melted. Apply it to the sheet of parchment paper that has been prepared, and then repeat the process with the other strawberries. Allow the strawberries to sit at room temperature for twenty minutes so that they can set.The Layer of Chocolate and Graham
  • Put the chocolate chips in a small bowl that can be heated in the microwave. Followed by stirring, microwave for thirty seconds. Continue melting in increments of thirty seconds, stirring thoroughly after each batch, until the ingredients are completely incorporated.

  • Hopefully, this won’t take too much time. In order to ensure that the chocolate melts and comes together in a smooth texture, it is imperative that you mix it after every thirty seconds. Be careful not to overcook the chocolate, since this could cause it to solidify. Milk chocolate chips equalling one cup
  • After dipping each strawberry into the molten chocolate (approximately half way up the marshmallow layer), immediately dip the tip of the strawberry into the graham cracker crumbs. Place the melted chocolate on top of the marshmallow layer.
  • The strawberries should be allowed to set at room temperature for thirty minutes to one hour, or until they have become firm.
