Ingredients
Place the ham inside of a slow cooker that has a capacity of between 6 and 8 quarts. The slow cooker should be filled with water.
Put all of the glaze's components into a small bowl and mix them together until they are completely incorporated into one another.
Apply the glaze to the whole surface of the ham, and if you are using a spiral ham, make sure that the glaze is distributed evenly between each slice.
The ham should be cooked on LOW for four to five hours. From time to time, basting with the cooking juices is recommended.
If the ham is too big for the slow cooker lid to close all the way, put aluminium foil over the slow cooker and put the lid on top of that.
Additional brown sugar should be sprinkled on top before serving, and the dish should be placed under the broiler before being served.
