Salmon Alfredo Recipe 

Smoked salmon and your favourite pasta elevate the classic Alfredo sauce. Salmon Alfredo is so easy to make and ready in under 30 minutes! Delicious and quick for any night of the week!  

– 12 ounce dried penne – 3 tablespoons butter – 2 cloves garlic  – 1½ cup heavy cream – 1 cup Parmesan cheese – salt and pepper – 8 ounces smoked salmon  – 2-3 sprigs fresh thyme

Follow the package instructions to cook pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water. Set aside ½ cup of pasta water.

After draining, set the pasta aside. In a big skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.

Once the garlic is aromatic, add it and cook for 30 seconds. After adding the cream, stir and slowly bring to a boil.

Stir in the ½ cup of pasta water. Turn down the heat. When the sauce is smooth, stir in the Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.

Toss the pasta and salmon thoroughly with the cream after adding them to the saucepan. Check for seasoning and make any required adjustments.

Fresh thyme should be used as a garnish, and immediate serving with additional Parmesan cheese should be made.
