I created raspberry mint simple syrup for our homemade kombucha and am excited about it. Sprinkle warm simple syrup on brownies or ice cream for taste.
– ½ cup sugar– ½ cup water– 12 ounces fresh raspberrie– .75 to 1 ounce mint leave
Ingredient
1
Heat all ingredients in a small pot on medium high. Smash raspberries with a fork until they break.
Direction
2
Boil the mixture well. Stir occasionally on medium heat for 8–10 minutes as the mixture boils slightly.
3
Drain the mint leaves, raspberry seeds, and pulp in a fine sieve or strainer, reserving the juices in a small container.
4
Before refrigerating, let the hot mixture cool. Add simple syrup to sparkling water, homemade lemonade, iced tea, or a killer cocktail!
