Put the oven on to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.Put a sheet of parchment paper on top of a baking sheet, and store it aside.

The cream cheese should be soft. Put the sugar, lemon zest, and lemon flavour in the bowl of a stand mixer.

 Beat the ingredients together until the mixture is smooth. Scoop the mixture off the sides of the bowl once to make sure it's all mixed together.

The sheet of flawless dough should be unrolled in a meticulous manner and placed on the baking sheet that has been prepared.

The lemon cream cheese filling should be spread down the middle of the sheet of dough at this point.

Put the cherry sauce on top of the layer of lemon cream cheese. You can use more or less cherry filling, but I like to use 1 cup so that the cake is full of it.

Make cuts about an inch apart on each long side of the dough, left and right from the filling. The cuts should be 2 inches long. Look at the picture at the end of the process.

It should be baked for 15 to 20 minutes, or until it turns golden brown. After 15 minutes, check again because it should be done.

Allow the danish to cool for 20–30 minutes before frosting.Stir powdered sugar and two tablespoons fresh lemon juice in a medium bowl until smooth.

 Too thick? Add another tablespoon of lemon juice. For the danish, I want a thicker, pourable glaze that shines white.After the danish cools, fork or spoon lemon icing on top.Slice the danish!
