Scalloped potatoes made in an Instant Pot are creamy and cheesy, and they only take a short time to make. You can serve this as a side dish at Easter, Thanksgiving, or a bigger party!
Ingredients
It is necessary to slice the potatoes and then add them to the Instant Pot in order to get them ready for use.
As you whisk to blend the ingredients, add the broth, salt, pepper, oregano, and garlic powder.
Put the lid on, make sure the valve is in the sealed position, and cook on high pressure for one minute.
After that, cook on natural pressure for three minutes, and then manually release the pressure that is left.
Start the oven by turning it on and adjusting the temperature to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. This will get the oven ready.
Take the potatoes out of the Instant Pot and carefully place them in a pie baking dish. Set them aside.
The garlic should be added to the liquid that is still in the pot after the Saute mode has been activated. Cook for thirty seconds while stirring.
Add the cream, then allow it to simmer for a moment. Switch off the Instant Pot and add one cup of shredded cheese, stirring it until it is completely melted and smooth.
Sprinkle the remaining one cup of shredded cheese on top of the potatoes after pouring the cheese sauce over them, tossing them to spread the sauce, and then serving.
Bake the mixture for fifteen minutes, or until it begins to pop and bubble. Allow the top to brown for a few minutes in the broiler.
