Easy Maple Candied Pecans Recipe

This easy candied pecan dish takes minutes to make! Sweetened with pure maple syrup for less sugar. They can be eaten raw or chopped into salads. 

– 1 cup raw pecan – 1 Tbsp avocado oil – 2 Tbsp pure maple syrup – 1 pinch ground cinnamon optional – 1 pinch sea salt

Heat candied pecan ingredients in a small skillet on medium. Stir for 3–5 minutes until most of the liquid evaporates and pecans are glossy and sticky.

Watch the nuts, as they burn easily if left too long. This is why I recommend watching the skillet for 3–5 minutes and stirring frequently.

Remove the pecans from heat immediately when lacquered. For sweeter pecans, add 1–2 teaspoons of brown sugar.

To avoid sticking, dry nuts in a single layer on a dish or baking sheet. Clumping nuts can be placed in a basin immediately.

After many minutes, dried nuts won't stick to your hands. As a snack, slice candied nuts for green salads, or sprinkle them on desserts.
