Easter Bunny Bait is a sweet and salty snack combination composed with Chex cereal, cheerios, pretzels, pastel M&Ms, white chocolate, and pastel springtime Easter sprinkles.
Ingredients
Make sure that a baking sheet with a rim is lined with wax paper or parchment paper. Put aside for later.
Put the rice Chex cereal, honey nut cheerios, pretzel sticks, and M&Ms into a large mixing bowl. Mix well. Stir everything together until it is thoroughly combined.
Put the white chocolate and the shortening or coconut oil in a bowl that can be heated in the microwave.
Cook in the microwave for twenty seconds at a time, stirring thoroughly after each interval, until the mixture is fully smooth and melted.
Following the pouring of the melted white chocolate over the cereal mix that is contained within the bowl, swirl the mixture until it is completely coated.
Place the bunny bait in an even layer on the baking sheet that has been coated with parchment paper, and then quickly sprinkle the sprinkles on top of the rabbit bait.
For about 30 minutes to an hour, let the chocolate set and harden at room temperature before cutting it up and serving.
