Chocolate Hazelnut Swirl Blondies Recipe
A delicious chocolate-hazelnut spread tops these sweet, nutty Chocolate Hazelnut Swirl Blondies.
INGREDIENT
FOR THE BLONDIES:
– 2 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon baking powder
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
– 1 & 1/2 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
– 2 large egg
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 3/4 cup finely chopped hazelnut
FOR THE TOPPING:
– 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
– 1/4 cup chocolate-hazelnut spread*
– 1/4 cup granulated sugar
Make the blondies:
Heat the oven to 350°F. Prepare a 9"x 13"x 2" baking pan. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

INSTRUCTIONS
Butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla should be mixed well with a medium-speed electric mixer or spoon.
Step 2
Slow mixer speed to low and add flour mixture slowly. Just combine. Mix in hazelnuts. Blondie batter should be evenly distributed in the pan.
Step 3
To prepare the topping, mix cream cheese, chocolate-hazelnut spread, and sugar on medium speed with an electric mixer.
Step 4
Drop 2–3 teaspoons of topping mixture over the blondies. Stir the chocolate mixture into the top third of the blondie batter with a thin knife.
Step 5
Bake 30–35 minutes until a pick inserted into the centre comes out clean. Cut blondies into bars after they cool in the pan.
