- nonstick cooking spray
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 10 ounces marshmallows (regular or mini)
- 5 cups Rice Krispies cereal

- 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsweetened, shredded coconut
- green food coloring
- 48 mini eggs

- Coat two muffin tins with cooking spray that doesn’t stick.
- Melt butter in a big pot over a medium heat.

- To the pot, add the marshmallows. Cook the marshmallows over medium heat, stirring, until they melt and mix well with the butter.
- Take off the heat. Add salt and vanilla to the marshmallow mixture and stir.

- When adding the cereal to the pot, toss it around so that the marshmallow mixture coats it evenly.
- Take a generous ¼ cup of the rice krispie mixture and fill 16 muffin cups with it. Press the rice krispies into the middle of each up to form a nest using a tablespoon measuring spoon.

- Once the goodies are one hour firm, take them out of the muffin cups and place them onto a dish.
- Put the coconut and three to four drops of green food coloring into a big resealable bag. To get the coconut’s hue, shake the bag.

- Place one spoonful or more of the green coconut in the middle of each nest.
- Place three little eggs on each nest.
