These three performers are all senior members of the ensemble that they are a part of. The late actress Helen McCrory portrayed the part of Elizabeth “Polly” Gray in the sitcom for a total of five seasons before she died away in 2021 due to breast cancer. McCrory’s death occurred in 2021.

 

In the beginning, the show was initially broadcast on BBC Two, beginning in the year 2013. Subsequently, it was shifted to BBC One, and eventually, it became a success all over the world through its availability on Netflix.

 

The spectacular increase in renown that Murphy experienced was partly attributable to the captivating character of Tommy Shelby, which Murphy played in the series.
